FTLife proudly received Appreciation Award by Hong Kong Taxi Council to recognize our contribution in being the first and only insurer in support of the designated Taxi Fleet set up by the Transport and Housing Bureau and the Hong Kong taxi industry. We have pro-actively offered cash benefit, hospital cash and death benefit for contracting COVID-19, as well as coverage on vaccination side effect to designated taxi fleet who provided patients with free transport services between the designated clinics and their residences.

The 2020 China Insurance Jindifeng Awards, co-organized by China Marketing Society and Insurance World Magazine, was held successfully at Henansheng Renmin Auditorium in HengZhou. The awards ceremony is to recognize outstanding achievements of insurance corporations, products, team and individuals. FTLife’s “Regent Insurance Series” and “HealthCare 168” Critical Illness Protector 2 were honored “Most Recognized USD Savings Plan” and “Most Recognized Critical Illness Plan (HK)” after judging by a panel of industry professionals and senior media. FTLife garnered three prestigious awards in Bloomberg Businessweek/Chinese Edition Financial Institution Awards 2020, namely the "Medical Care – Outstanding Award", "Integrated Marketing (Product) – Outstanding Award", and "Training and Development Achievement (Agency Force) – Outstanding Award". The annual Bloomberg Businessweek/Chinese Edition Financial Institution Awards are judged by an esteemed panel of economists, scholars, experts, and the editorial board of the magazine. They evaluate entries based on four criteria: market performance, growth, development, and business strategy. Through rigorous assessment, awards are granted to winners as recognition to their outstanding performance and contributions in driving the development of the financial industry in the past year.

This year, FTLife received the "Medical Care – Outstanding Award" with TopCare Medical Insurance Plan. This Flexi Plan certified by the HKSAR Food and Health Bureau under VHIS combines the basic protection of VHIS with multiple first-in-market* product designs, including additional benefit of up to HKD160,000 for major cancers, a up to 100% major medical benefit reimbursement percentage for severe urban chronic diseases and renewal premium without increase according to age after age 70. FTLife also won the "Integrated Marketing (Product) – Outstanding Award" with its "VHIS@FTLife" themed campaign, which aimed to promote the all-new VHIS products and services. By using large-scale outdoor advertisements and online digital platforms, with the support of such marketing tools as a market survey, client seminars and customer incentives, the campaign successfully raised public awareness to the VHIS and other insurance products, as well as the corporate brand.

FTLife is honoured to be bestowed with the Corporate Financial Education Leadership – Gold Award and Corporate Financial Education Leadership for the Best Advocate at the IFPHK Financial Education Leadership Awards 2020 took place at the Conrad Hong Kong on 15 January 2020, witnessed by some 200 guests and business leaders.

The company has received the Corporate Financial Education Leadership – Gold Award for two consecutive years for its demonstrated contribution in providing financial education to the public on a pro bono basis. It was also named the Best Advocate for enhancing public awareness and knowledge to the tax incentive measures implemented by the government which included tax-deductible MPF voluntary contributions, the premium paid for qualifying deferred annuity policies and the Voluntary Health Insurance Scheme.

The panel of judges of the “GBA Insurance Awards – Hong Kong Region”, consisting of leaders from politics, business and academia, selects and publicly recognises outstanding products and services provided by respected insurers to encourage further enhancement of professional standards in the insurance industry.

FTLife received the Outstanding Savings Product Award with its flagship product Regent Insurance Plan 2. Designed with the traditional Chinese idea of “leaving a legacy behind” in mind, this market-leading innovative savings insurance plan offers 2 lock-in options, 3 first-in-market product features, a premium holiday up to 4 years and unlimited changes of insured with a reasonable return for customers to lead fulfilling lives.

The company got the Outstanding Marketing Strategies Award - Integrated Marketing (Life Insurance) with the successful implementation of the all-round marketing strategy for Regent Insurance Plan 2. Olympic gold medallist Hui Ruoqi provided the human face of the flagship product. Moreover, the campaign was supported by event sponsorships, social media promotions as well as customer and agent experience activities. The integrated marketing strategy proved to be successful as the overall new business volume and new business value increased substantially.

Last year, FTLife started a new IT project to combine traditional insurance operations with cutting-edge technologies for greater market competitiveness. With more stable and reliable core systems, the project introduced specially-designed mobile applications for different users (distribution channels and customers). The Outstanding Online Platform Award (Life Insurance) was bestowed for the enhanced customer experience through the effective use of online and digital platforms.

On 28 May at Conrad Hong Kong, the Award Presentation Ceremony was officiated by Joseph Chan Ho Lim, Under Secretary for Financial Services & the Treasury of the HKSAR Government, and attended by hundreds of top elites from the financial industr.

The annual Bloomberg Businessweek/Chinese Edition Financial Institution Awards are judged by a panel of industry experts, business leaders and academics as well as the editorial boards of the magazine. They review and evaluate entries based on the market performance, growth and development, as well as business strategy in the past year. Through rigorous assessment, the “Excellence Award” and “Outstanding Award” are granted to the highest and second highest score winner in each category respectively as a recognition to their contributions and efforts in developing the financial industry through constant innovation.

FTLife received the “Saving Plan – Excellence Award” with its flagship product “Regent Insurance Plan 2” which incorporates the traditional Chinese value of leaving descendants a legacy. It provides customers with great agility in wealth management – they can either choose to withdraw cash to enjoy life after retirement or pass down wealth to the next generations through a lump sum or regular payments.
